JohnHi,
I don’t know if I have a frenulum breve, but when I’m erect I can’t pull down the skin to the base of the shaft, just a little bit below the glans head. Am I at risk of tearing my frenulum during sex? or is it acceptable to not be able to pull it down that far?
-
Hi John,
some people have more space to pull their foreskin down to the base of the shaft than others. As long as you can get it behind your glans and you don’t feel any uncomfortable feeling you should be fine. If you are still concerned you can post a picture for us to have a better look. Also if you would like to have your Frenulum longer there is always an option to gently stretch it.
Take care!

MarcosCould you give your opinion on mine the way it looks by chance?
-
Hi Marcos,
if that’s the farthest you can pull your foreskin down before getting an uncomfortable feeling or restriction then it looks like you have a Frenulum breve.
How has Sex been so far for you?
From the picture it doesn’t look like your Frenulum has any tears or scaring so you should be able to fix it with some patience. Please follow the instruction guide for stretching! 🙂Take care!

MarcosDuring sex with her juices and mine it slides over the glans like nothing but with when it’s over I have to pinch the glands to pull the skin back over.. but before all this I have barely been having sex for 7 months and before that the whole didn’t seem to be widen or stretching I think over the course of sex it’s made it stretch not to were it feel uncomfortable but it feels different because my head is exposed and the skin is behind it, in this picture it doesn’t show the farthest it can get pulled back also my age is 22 and other then that I don’t know where to start to help me and my partner out or who to see about it

MarsilarsiYou could see an urologist but please don’t let yourself talk into any kind of surgery. Your case seems very mild and I would go to an urologist and tell him you wanna do some stretching to loosen it a bit. They can give you a steriod cream to help.
When the foreskin stays behind the glans I’d guess that your phimotic ring is slightly tight. Do some stretching and you will see that it will slowly improve. -
Marcosi Had trouble picking which urologist to go to are they a urologist and a regular doctors at the same time or do they only specialize in urologist
-
MarsilarsiNot sure where you are from but an urologist is a doctor specialised in that area. So they perform the same studies as a general practitioner but then specialise. I would guess this is the same everywhere?

johnHi Marsilarsi,
I’m a little paranoid/uncomfortable posting pictures of my genitalia on the internet. This picture is from the internet and looks exactly like how I am. Any lower than this and my glans head starts pulling down.
Thank you for your reply

To me this looks like a good range so I wouldn’t worry too much. What makes you think that you could have a Frenulum breve? Any discomfort during masturbation/sex?
-
johnHi Marsilarsi,
I experience no discomfort with masturbation and I haven’t had sex since I discovered I had phimosis (which is almost cured).
I thought I could have frenulum breve, because of a video that I watched. In this video the person could pull his foreskin back a lot further than I can. It made me wonder if this was to be expected, but when I tried I couldn’t go very far before it started to hurt.
-
JimYour range of retraction is quite normal.
-
Don’t worry, enjoy your penis and don’t focus on things which are perfectly fine just because you saw a video where a guy can pull it further. Everyone is different 🙂
